    Thanks for posting Lubber!

Nice to see that the clean cars had a decent sheen on their paint, which reassures me that the paint on my 80" is about right

Without wanting to seem pedantic, the term "vintage" when used in referring to automobiles should only be used in reference to vehicles built before 1/1/31.

He's doing a whole lot of gearshifting at the start of that last vid, but not actually moving.

Good point but it depends who you believe. A book I have by a veteran car club in the UK describes veterans as the first cars until about 1913 I think, then vintage until when you describe.

I have seen EH Holdens described as vintage

Veteran cars are those made before 1/1/19. Then vintage cars before 1/1/31.

Some of the snob clubs (cheese cutter caps, tweed jackets with leather elbow patches, etc) have a classification of "Post-vintage Thoroughbred". This is not officially recognised by any of the clubs controlling bodies. Classic cars are those recognised and listed as such by the Classic Car Club of America and may be of any age. All others are just old cars. You may think of the others as desirable, collectible, historic, or interesting but that is all they are, just old cars.

Without wanting to seem pedantic, I think the term vintage was used to describe the footage, rather than the vehicles.

Change the punctuation or order of words and the same words have two different meanings.
