The recently acquired RRS TDV8 is known as Huw......even though its red and growls at you, perhaps befitting a female identity.....I drove it out of the lot on my departed best mate's anniversary.

Huw was a landy tragic of the first order.....he owned a 90 in the UK and paid LR to remove the power steering, otherwise it was too soft...and later fitted an Isuzu donk before exporting it to Oz.

    We've got one of each.

The Sport is 'Black Betty' no prizes for guessing what colour she is, and

The Defender is 'Monty' because he's black also, and we, like so many, went down the British track. So black, British, Black Knight, Monty Python, 'Monty' (my hubby wanted Baldrick initially, and the kids wanted Brawn as it was a Defender from the kids Transformers series).

We've always named our cars. We used to have a theme of the Flintstones, but we've exhausted all of their names. We still have Bamm Bamm, the Mountain Trail camper though, and he faithfully follows Black Betty around the country on adventures.

I'd never thought about naming our camper, but now I might...

Best I can think up off the cuff is 'Whitey' because ... it's white! Or 'The Dog' because it faithfully follows us everywhere.

Mine was called "The Red Roo" before I became the owner. Cant decide if I can go with it or not. Hasn't really got me.

I could go with Boomer about the Chritmas song and roos to keep it going along the same line. That would make him a him I think.
