    4 x 20L "red" jerrycans on the front (2 each side) plus same on the rear was standard kit for the blokes in the next lab from our mob, when they packed for long range field trips in the late 60s... then one day they took delivery of 2 white R-A-N-G-E-R-O-V-E-R-S ... "celebrity status" took on a whole new meaning amongst the boffins!
