    Ford 1-2

My son is currently working at Bathurst. Whilst there he went and visited the racing museum. He sent me this picture, which I thought I would share around.

For any Ford fans old enough to remember 1977 should appreciate this photo, I know I did.

This was also the days when these race cars did resemble the cars that were available to purchase.

Wasn't that was the year of the 1-2 finish..always thought that was Alan Moffat , Colin Bond.

Am sure the experts will correct me if im wrong.

Ean. Yes you are correct. And the team was Moffat Ford Dealer Team. Moffat's car was sick and Bond could have easily won, but was under orders to let the boss win. As Moffat once said in an interview a few years back "it is hard enough to win this race, let alone get 1st and 2nd"
