Its just had new injectors and rings, i think its more to do with the mass of my right foot and the weight effect it has on the right pedal, spends a lot of time welded to the firewall. The tdi is fantastic offroad and still beautiful on it, its extremely long lived and reliable, but for hoghway driving it gets a bit tiresome, the acceleration is pretty dreadful and when you hook one of the trailers onto it it just gets worse, rapidly. I need a car to do everyhting well and that hwy i want to change to a td5, i know it will cost more in maintenance, and be a little less reliable, but for me the benefits outweight the disadvantages and sadly i will have to let my lovely tdi go to the next sucker (i mean blessed owner) would have loved it for a project, but i am into buggies and i think if i made an offroad rig i would base it on Suzuki Sierra axles with a tube frame and maybe a motorcycle engine, a Discovery is too big a project, especially if it wasn't registered, maybe later in life. But we're all cool with suzukis as Garthon's did sell them for a while, i'de be shot of i bought a tojo (not that i'd ever want to)
Cheers
Will
