For gasflowed/performance head with bolt set and fitting kit (all gaskets) it cost £547 delivered to the door. + £80 for the donor head. You could take £100 off that if you went for a standard head.
No new parts, just swap everything across and use new gaskets and bolts. I have never done this kind of engine work before so this weekend will be a learning experience. I've read up a fair bit and have a clear idea of the steps involved, so looking forward to it and will keep the forum posted -especially if I run into difficulty![]()

Manic, whats the 80 quid for the donor head for ? , i thought it was a new casting ?

yeah I see the confusion I used Turner Engineerings term for what they do; 'Re-Manufacturing'.
They dont make new casts, they take used heads and 'refurb/restore' them, but I guess they see their process as advanced enough to use the term 're-manufacture'.
I wish they would start casting though, how hard can that be? Perhaps big blocks of aluminium are prohibitively expensive.
