    Anthony Mundine stripped of title

    Courier Mail , 15 May. ;" The WBA stripped Anthony Mundine of his interim super welterweight title after he failed to obey an order for a mandatory fight against title holder American Austin Trout.Mundine became the mandatory challenger with a decision win over Rigoberto Alvarez in October last year, but turned down a world title fight against champion Trout.     He a brawler and an arrogant egoist, more than that it has nothing to do with race, Lionel Rose was a gentleman and universally liked because of it.

    Haven't liked him since he walked out on St George without so much as a by your leave.

    It doesn't matter who he fights, I will always be a supporter of his opponent. Not that I would ever bother watching him.

    So if you dont watch him, how do you qualify him as a brawler.....He is a pretty darn good technical boxer. His personal character I wont comment on as I dont know him and dont believe half the BS surrounding him.

    I agree with this, he is a very good boxer and as long as you don't stick a microphone or camera in front of him, he is like his father a nice bloke, I don't know him personnally but I do know people in his community.
