Sorry to break the bad news

Called zip merging on the vc roads page
    Zip merging
If you are on a road without lines marked and two rows of vehicles merge into one, you must give way to any vehicle which has any part of its vehicle ahead of yours. Note: If you cross any lines marked on the road, then you are not zip merging but changing lanes and you must give way accordingly.

    how far?

    27/30
got the distances wrong ( too far ) when parking from corner , bus stop.

    And this one,

If you are under 25 years of age and on a P1 provisional licence, how many people under 21 years of age (that are not immediate family members) may be a passenger in you car between 11:00pm and 5:00am.

answer is 1, not 0 ???? but then a girl friend isn't family unless !!!???

Where's Ron? "you" should be "your" surely ?

This is true your impeding there driving line. However in saying that who has noticed the situation where a car in a left lane wanting to merge to the right. Taps the brakes in a YES/NO/MAYBE will I go situation (normally women drivers). Next thing you know everyone in the right lane is under brakes.

My answer is this. Firstly do you know the person in the car on the right lane. Next are you having a affair with them Thirdly are they a relo to them. Finally are you married to them. If you answer NO to these four questions stuff them plant the foot and merge in.

It is a lot safer to speed up and merge at same speed than brake wait to late situations

I'm amazed at the simplicity of the questions I was asked. All answered correctly.

And if you can do that (the bit in green) without cutting off the driver in the other lane then you have no necessity to "give way" as you wont impede their progress.

If however your vehicle cannot get up to speed, and you cause them (or me) to slow down - then you deserve everything you get

Thanks - That is exactly the point I was originally trying to make - the question showed the whole of my vehicle in front of the other car - it did not say anything about them being slowed down or impeeded by me, it just said I was wrong to move in front of it - The fact that I would have been going as fast or faster than that vehicle was not considered in that question - no one would have been cut off, but my answer was incorrect.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
