I for one have great difficulty in navigating the 'Aulroian' site and have all but given up trying to find stuff. Sorry Pedro I've no doubt there's plenty of excellent stuff in 'The Good Oil' , but finding it, for me, can be a mammoth task.
I just tried looking for site rules and information, to see if one the roles of a mod is to be 'helpful' but gave up after 10 minutes with no result.

IMO a more informative reply would have been better.

The site rules are on every forum section in the Stickies. How could you miss them, e.g., http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-ch...er-2008-a.html

Re moving the post, I left an expiring redirect as I normally do when I move a post or thread.

Had you used the New Posts button, then all would have been revealed. Too many people on this forum only look at their own narrow field(s) of interest.

Thanks Ron, I can find the 'Conditions of Access' , but I was looking for something that explained the operation and structure of the forum, an overview if you like of roles and responsibilities. Perhaps this is assumed to be common knowlege, but if you're not certain a bit hard to find out.

My suggestion that the reply to the OP could have been more informative is not a criticism of site management, more a reminder that some some members may not have the knowlege/expertise of the mods and perhaps this should be considered when responding.
