Ol Mate has had a few bad days.
What interested me tho was his claim that the Kia Kv6 engine is a landrover thingy !!!
Is it ?
What LR's were they put into ?

As going bush said, its actually a Rover KV6 thats what makes the Kia's such lemons haha, was used in the freelanders, but on the plus side with them all crapping themselves the auto converter plates and starters are good to adapt to the veteran cars LOL

The KV6 predated Freelander.
I can recall that almost 100% of early Kia Carnivals had to be recalled because of headgasket failure and the engines replaced.
What it must have cost is almost beyond belief!
Kv6 was in Rover sedans etc . Here is the Wiki

Yes, it was used in a variety of english rubbish (only rubbish becasue of this motor), what we are saying is that the LR it was used in was Freelander 1
