You'll have to get the sender to wrap it.
Disclaimer;: I did try a search but did not come up with much relevant info.
I have bought a 40 litre fridge and slide off a fellow AULRO member based up on the Gold Coast.
He has very kindly taken it to one of our company offices up there.
I would like to get it down to Melbourne but am in no real hurry for it.
I have a post up in the AULRO courier section.
In the meanwhile , if that does not come to fruition can anyone recommned a good , cost effective freight company.
At the moment the slide and fridge are not necessarily joined together.
I do realise that I may have to get someone to pack them up by wrapping in bubble wrap and maybe cardboard for a freight comp to pick up.
The total weight would be around 40kgs.
Alternately is there a place that would collect , package and freight down?
I have contacted pack and send but they appear to be very expensive.

Pete,
I just did an online quote with E-go based on the approximate size and weight of the fridge. If you can get it dropped in to a depot up there and you can pick up from a depot in either Dandenong, Campbellfield or CBD it would cost $25.49.
Door to door would be approx $45-50.
