    Hey Matt,

I can understand completely, the GU is a boring ride BUT the Duramax will make it enjoyable.

Won't have to do any mods to drivetrain, and you have space for the chillens etc.

Make sure we get pics and the whole story here please!, don't forget about us

Congrats on the mice, number 3 soon ...already??

Cheers Mr Cooper, next one has just started baking, more to come apparently

I"ll have a rovercare gone mad thread once it begins

Tis a shame, the 120" was built with Russia in mind, but then babies came along, life priorities change and it has become not so practical, to be honest it just sits idle

So I need something to drive, but I can't have something normal, never have, and 600HP 392388newtonkilometres of torque seems to tickle my fancy, unfortunately at his time something A/C equipped (I hate A/C) numerous seats and relatively quiet and with decent range needs to be accuired/built

Time restraints add to the fact that I need not have umpteen projects unused nor will they be used practically for the next 5 years

Oh the shame in it all

Unfortunately, It is not wife friendly, can't drive stick! so auto it must be, land rover cab, not so much love for, so one ponders a few things

    Horspeower, not a little, alot
    Comfort
    Fuel range

This is the best compromise I can get

Bland, a bit boring, but hey, when your a sheep in a paddock, why not join the flock

Gone are the days one just thinks for ones self, I havent been bush for near 12 months, its getting quite tedious!

So the open mind plays, next thing is wife car in a few years once the kids a are self managing, it'll be a 56 Chevy Nomad most likely, if number 4 comes along it'll be a people mover

    Matt,

Just letting you know - proud of ya!
    Keep up the good work!

We all know that the 'dark side' would have been you buying a stock standard tarago

A goo with a stonking donk aint no dark side! The side be side conversion will make it the right price too!

Congrats on the new pooglet, keep enjoying life and be dad to them kids!

When you decide to travel north in a few years - bring your tribe and Ill look after you in Cookers!

Sounds to me like you're trying to talk yourself away from Rovers, if you don't leave because you hate them you'll be back, guarantee it , don't even bother with the Patrol, just put the hard yeards in on the P38a, you'll be happier when it's done

....you don't have a wife and family i take it Will? , let alone almost 4 kids under 6!
lots of priorities and ideas change, pretty much overnight.

i reckon he's thought this through pretty thoroughly, knowing old matt.
