Ask Mick Marsh, he's been chasing the same.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
We bring in tyres from time to time, send me a Pm and We can have a chat...
A tyre that used to be common military tyre but is now getting harder and harder to get hold of is 9.00 16's or the closest metric equivalent of 255/100R16. I believe there are some ex nato surplus stores in Europe that may still stock second hand XML's and such but from what I gather they are pretty thin on the ground in Australia.
See this thread for what others have used in their place or what you can expect to pay for new XML's in the 255/100R16 size:

Yeh, my vehicle comes standard with 255/100 xzl's but the XML's are vastly superior and double the price thats why i'm chasing usedies, the XML tyres are a slightly different size though 325/85 r16's which makes them 70mm wider and 61mm taller in overall diameter which shouldn't upset the original gearing all that much i hope??
I'm chasing 12.00x20 bar treads, Ian. Got one of the local tyre dealers looking into it for me.
I've found a fellow in Footscray who advertises he sells 6.00x16, 7.00x16, 7.50x16 and 9.00x16 bar treads. I'll be calling him soon to find out if he can deliver what he advertises.
What Aust mil vehicle used 325/85R16 XML's?
