    bugger, trip report lost

I have just blown 3.5 hours of trip report making.
For next time if it ever happens again, can anyone tell me how to save a post in the making without actually posting it.

    thanks

Has happened to me a couple of times too. I tend to try to recover it sometimes using the backpage arrow. Sometimes it caches in your computer and you bring what you were typing back up.

Otherwise to be safe, I constantly preview post before final submition, OR, submit and then use several edit's until done.

Again, good to hear you are back safe and sound. Look forward to reading report version 2

I do mine in notepad for the bulk of it then add pics and stuff via the prieview post button.

If I'm doing it on someone elses computer I tend to do it as an email draft in gmail.

yep a real pain, but thanks all.
I had only made it to the top of the Hay River Track as well.

I'm a bit of a mong when it comes to doing it. I have had no luck doing them in Word and transferring it over. I run a Mac with an old copy of word and for some reason doesn't transfer. Getting the pics out of a mac into image shack is also a bit cumbersome.
When I calm down a bit I'll ponder on anther report, trouble is it is so dame big. Might try some other ways of doing it.
