Can anyone identify this insect?
I took the photo a few months back in the garden the bush it is on is a grevillea.

Ah beaten to the punch lol.. my Entomologist friend came back with the same answer and she said : It is indeed a feather horned beetle, of the family RhipiceridaeAustralia only has 6 species, and nothing is known about the larval stage. However, those in North America are known to be ectoparasites of the nymphal stage of cicadas
