    Nah I call BS.
    It's all toyota propaganda.
IMHO the reliability of your Landie is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put into looking after it
If you can't handle taking an active interest in your car, not just letting it sit and whinging when something goes wrong, you're best sticking to a Toyota and leaving the Green and Gold to the elite (us)
    Off my high horse now...

Yeah I saw that one a while ago.
Haven't read the full anti landie one, and I'm not denying the possibility that they got a total lemon, but surely they could do something more productive than bitch and carry on.
I mean, if AULRO didn't exist, and we didn't have the mentality of weekly checks under the bonnet and other preventative issues, how many of us would be crying for blood?
Dad's 99 V8 had it's run of problems, don't see him howling bloody murder
Perhaps they were ex toyota drivers who flogged the **** out of it and then acted surprised when things broke.
Then again, perhaps their car was a total POS lemon, and they were just like the rest of us.
If you're on the forum, I meant no offence. As I said, don't have the time to read it and LR hate fests annoy me anyway

Didn't your mums teach you not to tempt fate, put the mockers on you or any of the many other versions around?

I suspect there are many more of us out there that enjoying good times but are just not as silly to say it out loud....

    Cheers guys
    Kev,

I don't believe in fate and kicked the bad-mojo faeries butt so I'm not too worried . You make your own luck I reckon . All that "don't say it cause then it will come true" is worrying for worries sake. Enjoy the good times when they happen...... Because it is a land rover and it will eventually break-down (most probably at the most in-opertune time).
