Range Rover vs other 'New Models'

New Ranger Rover vs previous Range Rover
    > Lighter
    > Bigger
    > Better fuel economy
    > Still tows 3,500kg

    New Patrol vs previous Patrol
(Drive - New Nissan Patrol Review)
    > Heavier
    > Bigger
    > Worse fuel economy
And apparently it's 'stepping away from its basic 4WD roots and into a more upmarket space often occupied by fancier brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Range Rover.' - NOT LIKELY

200 Land Cruiser vs 100 Land Cruiser
    > Heavier
    > Worse (I think) fuel economy

Clearly Land Rove is the only company that can improve their 4wd's and make them lighter.

I dunno. Just had a look on redbook and the Great Wall fourby is listed as being slightly lighter and more fuel efficient than it was when it first came out.
