The later FWD's definitely used the 4AGE.
Getting off track, Yamaha are interesting re the 5V head.
It became corporate policy, even though some of their engineers knew a 4V head is more efficient.
It may have even been Masao Furusawa that insisted on a 4V head and had secretly built one along with the big bang engine for MotoGP as a test engine for Rossi to trial when he first went to Yamaha, then they quietly dropped it.
