I do wish she would do some more 'up-beat' type stuff but I've been listening to this lass for a while:

That was yesterday by Single Bass

She's from back here in the UK and all of her work is just bass guitar and vocals.

...as you may have guessed, I'm a bass player myself. So here's a pic of my setup (being played by my son).

Trace 2x10 & Warwick bass. I have a few others but that's my main one.

He may not normally, but he's an incredibly capable and talented player, besides he's just cool

I have my top 10, but for me Rory Gallagher is at the top, I only watched him play live twice and that was amazing such a shame hes no longer with us. Clapton I have seen 4 times, his ability to play the intro to money for nothing with 2 strings broken on his Gibson and it sounded no different was something else even Mark Knoffler was Impressed.
What about Chris Rea ?? He's the best in my book

This is my favorite song , the concert is brilliant and I often play it at "concert level" when no one is around Of course you need the sound system to appreciate it.

I don't like too many notes, just like sound.

Mick Taylor and Steve Cropper. Also enjoy the sound Joey Santiago from the Pixies makes.

not saying the best, but would think Don Felder and Eagles need a mention, along with Robbie Kriegger (sp)

Big fan of Page, Jeff Beck, Ash Grumwald.......

Classical guitar John Williams. I saw Led Zepplin in 71. Jimmy Page was pretty awesome. Steve Howe from Yes was ahead of his time. Satriani is a machine, Tommy Emmanuel is a freak. The guys that played with him this year were great too, Frank Vignola and Vinnie someone...played Django tunes as good as I've heard. The skill level is through the roof these days.
