    Where to stay on the Newell?

    Hi all, does anyone here know of a good place to stay around the Coonabarabran, Dubbo, Parkes area?

    Just for one night for the Disco and myself whilst on transit from Brisbane to Wangaratta.

    How far are you prepared to detour?

    If you have some time to spare, the Warrumbungles are a great place to camp.

    You should easily make Tomingley in one hit from Brisbane other than fuel stops. There is a pub there and one used to be able to camp nearby.
