Angry birds is great. I've used it at school teaching projectile motion in Physics.

Started the class by getting there early, and playing the game on the big projector while the kids lined up outside, faces pressed up against the window.

    Got their attention

Haha funny stuff, my 2.5 yr old has her own ipad, its my old one she claimed after i upgraded, never been able to get her into angry birds, she is more into the sing along apps, and the dora puzzle apps, now my 1yr old has worked out how to unlock and use an iphone as well it wont be long and she will trying to claim the old ipad too...

They are actually very good for kids entertainment, lots of apps for watching digital stored movies, i have mine setup to connect to the server at home and stream my downloaded movies, but you can actually get portable hard drives that are wifi capable and connect to these with the ipad to watch movies off them - great as an in car DVD player replacement!

only issue we had was wife left the purchasing option open on her's. trip back from grandma's and the kids bought $300 of sling shots on angry birds.
to rovio credit they refunded the full amount once the wife sent them an email explaining the issue.

We only have Angry Birds as a little kids (and wife) App, what others would you all recommend?
