Yesterday, I tackled the powerlines track in my own backyard for the first time in my Defender. Big achievement!
I would have never even thought of trying this in my old Hilux. (Only owned the place for 5 years. First time it has stopped raining all the time.)
Next time some idiot makes a comment, I will be inviting them over for a BBQ.....
I have been cruising in landies as long as i can remember and have always copped it from the "others" since the invention of all this internet stuff I have found the best way to combat the doubters and tbh once seen there is no longer any argument... just awe

Without their big lifts, big tyres and useing LR as a benchmark, they'd be nowhere.

I just ask if they've ever owned an LR and the answer is usually not. Then I say, "Well I've owned Toyotas and that's why I have a LR".
