    A LOOK INSIDE THE CRATE

Santa made an early delivery to my mate Peter. A brand new crate engine, Chrysler Hemi. To replace the 440 in his 1970 Dodge Challenger.

It is still used in Nascar and is the recommended fuel deliverer by Mopar Performance. If one were to set up as a methanol engine then Hilborn make an eight stack fuel injection system for them but not suitable for the street.

Another of the late great Smoky Yunick's designs although he never got a cent out of it. Or any credit.

Personally I'd keep the Holly, it's reliable, proven and easy to tune and maintain.

Now that would look very nice sticking out the back of my Baja bug, actually I know of a VF with the engine out.

Out of interest, are the crate motors still on backorder for at least 12 months or did the GFC sort that out?

If its streetable i'd go EFI, i dont consider Nascar to be the epitome of engineering - just my view.
