In subsequent media interviews, he said he was an ex policeman. From where, didn't say. To me It just doesn't look right. How many drivers phoned in about what many must have seen. Also after so much aggression, if someone ran at me like that, after what happened previous, I would regard it as a life threatening situation [ and the driver suggested that] my foot would have slipped off the clutch, in fear of my life, and, unfortunately, that gentleman would make contact with my front diff. So sad. Bob
Can that windscreen really be broken that easily?
I know someone said they broke theirs from the inside, but they are strong from the outside due to shape (except a defender of coarse)...
personally I dont trust commercial media as far as I could kick them....
I am with you Bob, but I wonder where we would stand leagally if we did that. Would it be considered as self defence?
The news on the radio said he had been charged with dangerous driving and wilful damage. Heres hopeing the courts also order a psych evaluation to see if he is fit to ever hold a licence. Obviously he isn't at the moment.
On the Ch 7 news tonight , they said that the police went to his home and arrested him with "Dangerous Driving of a motor vehicle" .The poster who said he looks like a spoilt brat appears to be spot on ,million$ home in Brisbane's southside. The car was owned by the family business.Apparently he has been at it for a while as another motorist has come forward. That's 3 including the one on video. They should throw the key away on this guy he is a danger to every motorist. IMHO of course.
Aah! but often people like him have "connections" where such transgressions are often overlooked :wasntme:
I'd ave pit moved him and pinned the car to a railing
My favorite quote on reddit.com on the incident,
"I'm in a one ton plus vehicle, assailant is made out of soft, pink meat.......I think i see a way out of this....."
:D :wasntme:
