Is it Landrover or Land Rover?

I live in a district with plenty of Land Rover drivers (for want of a better term), who sit in and who try to manipulate the controls of their on-loan, Land Rovers (owned by financial institutions).... ?? I'm not surprised at all that you meet *** like this gentleman (again, for want of a better word). How many Landies are in Australia? How many are actually owned, driven, succoured, caressed, nurtured, swooned over, spannered, scoured at, abused, even sworn at, by true devotees/believers/ of the sacred LR emblem, of whom, all are members of AULRO? The rest are the great unwashed, who are mere caretakers of the trusted marque and who will at the end of the lease/CHP, relinquish their guardianship (again wrong term), upon the sale of the vehicle in their possession (or actually their financial organization's possession), to those true believers on AULRO, who would be never so stupid as to purchase a vehicle from LR Aus at their ridiculous overpriced new price ticket....

Look on this fellow as one of those caretakers belonging to the minion class.. and hopefully one day the poor landie may even feel the dirt on its feet and all its joints. Then it will say "I'm free at last of the bonds of the one that once bound me!"....

I realy couldn't have said it better myself. I have always approached LR owners and had a pleasant response and even a lot of keen people to yap for hours over many different vehicles, locations traveled and other people whom may have been met. There is somewhat of a special connection between the true custodians of our treasured machines.

I think everyone's missing the point. An ****hole is an ****hole, regardless of the vehicle he's driving. One of two things are going to happen at some stage:

    a) He'll need the help of someone somewhere and they'll tell him to **** off

    b) He'll open his mouth to the wrong person like that someday, and they'll probably kick his teeth in

What goes around, comes around. Always has, always will.

It used to be Land-Rover, and then when the company was set up as a separate entity in about 1983 it was named Land Rover.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

Obviously not someone from here, must be an ex Toyota driver

You should have said to the tosser, " I only asked as I just bought a new Rangie Sport and was just wondering, as I didn't bother test driving a D4 whilst I was at the dealer"

I live in Coffs and have a white D4 and I know PKD4 as well and it certainly was not us.
It is a sad state of affairs that someone has such an answer to a civil question. If it was me I would have extolled the virtues of the D4, as in less than 10 months I have about 36,000 km on it and I am totally happy with my choice of vehicle.
To sum it up there are these knobs everywhere and it is sad you ran into one here in Coffs. Ean I hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday.
    Cheers, Graeme (the other one)

Geez I hope that some people are "stupid", otherwise Land Rover will go broke. And we need them to provide us with second hand vehicles down the track.
I reckon this guy may have just got knocked back by his wife or something. She told him to go and buy a carton of milk instead...you know how it is? You may have been poking papa bear by just speaking
