My Mother-in-law was really scary, but after a while, it was ok. I never had a mother-in-law before, either. I'm game if you are, you go first, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I am going this way with my d2.

Mate if you do a search on atb in disco 2, there is a couple who have these and speak very highly of them, you might even pm them to get more info.

Does a front LSD give any negative affects ? , i would have thought that a selectable locker would be better for the front and LSD for the rear.

Mate, I don't have one yet, but the feedback I have from those that do is no, the diffs don't lock so there is very little influence on the front end under normal driving conditions. I assume that more traction off road will have its associated differences, but not the same as a locked diff. Full differential action still happens....as I am informed anyway.

The only thing I've heard through the US where there was a trend towards fitting Detroit TruTracs (same type of LSD) is that the self centering of the steering is increased.

I heard that too Slunnie, but apparently it's not that much and the off road far outweighs the minor issues. I guess I will find out

Kev, there is a stronger self centreing, but you soon get used to it.

Cheers for that, I re-read the original thread on the atb and remember that info now, but in perspective the self centering action is a minor issue and I think someone replied in a pm that they found it a benefit.....?..... But anyway, plenty of front wheel drive vehicles have significant feedback in the steering department. As long as the offroad benefit is good, and I am sure it is otherwise I wouldn't be considering it......and the cost is a bonus too.

Bob, I will probably get the diffs done because I am changing ratios too, going to 4.12 because I will be running 33s......so need some expertise in setting that up....

Aghhhh, all this talk is getting me frustrated, I want to make this happen now!.....where's that money tree?
