    During the 60's I was busy doing the parts and production side of Landrovers for the services,would have liked to have gone, as my family has a solid history of military service going back to G/G/Grandfather's times (Crimea,WW1,WW2) on one side and G/father(WW1) on the other.

    But being deaf in 1 ear(shooting accident) put paid to that.

    I think 1968 would not be complete without a story on Neil Davis, a Tasmanian war correspondent. His biography, " One Crowded Hour ", is a book well worth reading. Bob
