How do we know this isn't the hacker posting now? Luring us into a false sense of security!! Let me ask you this Dave - do you like shoes? Only then will we know who's really posting!

P.S. Being hacked is annoying. Time to change password and do a virus/spyware scan of your PC.

My apologies dave, but that was me.
You see, I am actually a Nigerian prince, in need of your help.
I accessed your email account to send news of my plight to trusted individuals, who can help me bring my massive fortune to your country, and will be handsomely rewarded.
To not include you would be rude, so I sent the email to you too.
    Sincerely.

Just a quick point Dave. Getting a message from yourself doesn't necessarily mean you have been hacked. A spammer can send a message as whoever they like to whoever they like. Usually its an automated spamming script using a list of email addresses harvested from someone's address book. They have to find a friendly email server on the internet somewhere to to send the spam. Odds are they are nowhere near your computer. But then again, they could have their slimey tentacles all through your computer right now....
