    Flooding

When Queensland got the devastating rains/floods here we got just minor flooding if that.
However on friday we got a very big storm(remember this is big for us) where we got 27mm in 30mins and 8mm friday night.
    This made our creek flood.
It only cam up about a foot within the few hours that followed the rain but all of a sudden the creek rose about 2m in 10 minutes which caught lots of people of guard and made people get stranded between causeways and apparently a car or 2 got washed off but i never saw or got confirmation of this, but i did see 2 ambulances an ses 4x4 with a boat and a massive truck(semi size) with flashing lights go up the road.
anyway here are some photos and a few videos.
feel free to upload your own stories/photos/videos

this is me standing on the driveway which was covered in water just from the backyard it ran like this for a few hours even though the rain only lasted 30 mins

There's no two ways about it - that's a lot of water, in a small space of time!
