Thread: What is the make of the car? Non Land Rover

Dad had a 1968 2-door with a 429 inch ( 7.0 L ) and C6 autobox. Wonderful machine for a 17 y.o. ( me ) to drive! He got it after I rolled the '67 GTO over an embankment.

'Bird ate fuel, but my did it have power. Loved it!

Thank you for the video clip. The Americans certainly knew how to add chrome detail to their cars! I am very partial to their trucks from the mid 1930-40s. They frequently had large chrome grilles - sort of like big chrome smiles .

Thank you for posting the photos. It would certainly be hard for the three of them driving along in convoy to look discrete. Or you would be looking for a Presidential Limo to be not far away either. Did the passengers get out imitating a scene out of Men in Black?

I watched the vid till i saw the headlights, front sheetmetal and then the B pillar which told me it was one of the ugly tbird years. Ford lost the plot after 57 .
