Catching a wave across 6 lanes of the M4? I would only spot it if they had the window down flapping their arm around. Then you don't want to be mistaken for waving at a Toyota that may be in one of the other lanes....Some people can't take that sort of pressure so withdraw their waving services.

I don't get any waves back when driving the L322 Rangie - people just don't wave back at you. On the way home from camping on the Long weekend just gone, I waved to over a dozen different Landys, but none returned the wave.

In the end, I was waving to every car that went passed - even then I only got a confused half wave back from a driver in a blue Volvo - they are probably still trying to work out who they know that drives a dark blue Rangie...

We were both on the inside lanes, no vegetation in the middle, not clouds of traffic and it was a rather energetic wave.....
Oh and Bacicat, I wave to Rangies. They just never wave back

I'll be up your way in Septmeber for a Wedding - I'll make sure I wave to all the D2's.

In fact, it would be good to catch up - I'll zap you a PM closer to the date.

    Cheers - Gav

I got an unsolicited wave from a D4 today.

Needed a cup of tea, bex and a lay down.

I rarely get waves from other landie owners when I am driving my 101 - I guess because most landie owners do not know what it is. I get lots of waves from yobbo Toyota drivers - again they do not know what it is but think it is cool and wave.

However I did get caught out last week driving along a country highway in the 101. There was a lot of traffic coming the other way and as a white car went past I got a wave - caught me out as the car was already past before I was able to understand what had just happened.

So if it was you who was driving a white D3/4 heavily modified for 4wding and touring - thanks for the wave and sorry for not returning the compliment but you need to give me a bit more time to respond .
