    Snobbed!

Just got back from 3 days in Sydney, saw plenty of Landies...
    Only got 3 waves!
One from a nice RRC, one from a bronzy coloured D4 with a snorkel () and one from a blue D2 near home.
Passed a grey D4 with full barwork, lights, rack, awning, etc that I swear I've seen in a mag somewhere. Black D2a towing a caravan at the base of the hill through the blue mountains outside lithgow
Lots of D1s and D2s, a few RRSs, even an old SWB SII that looked like it had been lifted somehow, set up as a fishing truck!
    So to those three, cheers.

The 88" SIIa military are "lifted" OEM the same as the 109" SIIa and SIII military chassis. Perhaps it was just a civilianised ex-mil 88" SIIa

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

M4? I was heading away from Sydney, D4 was heading back towards Sydney. I think it was grey, it was a dark colour, not black.
    And I waved

I'll see anywhere from 2 to 12 LR products a day on the road. May be 3 waves a week if I'm lucky. I've even had the "It's your responsibility" talk with a few owners who looked at me very strangely before winding up the windows and looking steadfastly ahead.

still none apart from the blue like mine the other week; but to be honest I would probably miss it as when a disco is oncoming I'm getting ready to check out its butt to see if it is d1 or d2... why, I have no idea, I think it is a leftover of when I was looking for a car and still learning the differences between those two
