    I've seen that young Waterhouse prat is suing Peter FitzSimons for defamation over Fitz's Saturday Herald columns denouncing the endemic sports betting adds on TV.

    It's sad to hear that a few people have heard kids playing cricket or rugby in the backyard or park and quoting bloody odds on a win/draw as they go

    If people want to gamble their money away there are plenty of places to do it and they don't even have to get off their bum.

    We shouldn't be having tin lids talking about their favourate team sport in terms of the odds for a win or penalty.

    Gambling and the advertising of it on TV should go the same way as advertising of cigarettes.

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    so they will replace these ads with what.......

    i cannot remember the last thing i brought from TV advertising

    i certainly haven't wanted to place a bet after seeing the ad's, or beer, or wine, or stupid exercise machines etc etc etc

    hey lets stop all advertising.........that would mean no free TV
