Throwing a few spanners in the works

well.......not quite so, John's Piccoli is a great artist from the Australian bush with an awesome talent and determination.
John's fighting stallions took him about nine months to complete. It was all in his head he did not have any pictures, plans or drawings. He make them up on a steel-topped table, then use a block and tackle when the piece gets too heavy. Things have to be made lying down, because he can't reach very high seating in his wheel chair .

This sculpture at the new arboretum in Canberra is also pretty effective.

It is a different style, but for the subject matter, it seems to work.

Now I know where all the Whitworth spanners have gone to!

What patience and vision that artist has.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
