GQ Burnt out at Rainbow this arvo

Don't know the circumstances, but a GQ burnt out at Rainbow this arvo, around at the bay. Poor bugger.

Unfortunately, a D2 stopped to have a look, and **** itself,

Maybe his doof doof system melted down...

An all the spectators are standing in the biggest puddle on the planet, and no-one thought to find a bucket or empty an esky and tip some water on the fire?

Naah, might get the beer too warm to drink...

yep ironic all right; and they show up like flies to ****.

All those cars sitting around should have a fire extinguisher as well. Perhaps a bit of early intervention could have stopped what is now unstoppable.

unfortunate..........and i feel for the guy as its probably cost him a dollar or two

with every chance of a gas cylinder being in the back of the nissan i would not have been two keen on running in with a bucket of water.......i would assume the owner would have tried his best prior the the fire getting out of control

many hands make light work though weeds. When I drowned the old fourby at the beach time was critical as it sat in water logged sand.
One bloke who I approached helped with a snatch which failed. Mean while the hordes showed up and watched a family struggle to save there car. NOT until the drunkest bloke on the island showed up and summonsed bi-standers to start lifting while he and another towed that anything happened. By then the car had been fatally wounded however. That bloke and perhaps the biggest yobbo's on the island then became more helpful than I ever imagined.

It certainly changed my perspective and from now on I stop for any poor bugger who has made a mistake.

I still keep as a memento an empty fire extinguisher, I had empted it into a car that had it's engine bay well alight and after I put the fire out the owner verbally abused me because he wanted the insurance.

This happened in a lonely spot on a inland highway in central Queensland !

A great example of how you just never know what you're getting into.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
