Clearly someone was having fun on Photoshop. That ladder looks a bit fake.

if thats photoshopped its pretty darn good, specially to get the colors tones and reflections the same, looks more like 3rd world crative use of bondo and fiberglass to me.

when I saw the topic Range Cruiser I was thinking more like this, another example of creative use of RRC parts

I agree, a landlooser ute with the RRC shell tacked on hence the leaf springs.

Even the 76 series wagons still have leaf rear.

Dont most jap 4x4 utes still run leaf rear suspension, I think its more to do with the flimsy chassis, the Leaf spread the load along the chassis better, there is method in their madness, That said you can get the option of coils on the GU ute but are rare, and the leafer diff is stronger anyway.

I think my effort of putting a Series 3 body on a Range Rover is far better than a Range Cruiser, I call it the Land Ranger. Land Rovers and Land Cruisers shouldn't mix but Nissan's are different they are a genuine upgrade in strength. Just my opinion.
