At least all they did was graft the Rangie rear body section onto the cruiser.
    Note the rear leaf springing.
Still not a very nice look to it all though, all the styling lines are badly misaligned.

    Why would you...

Smells distinctly South African though with the game reserve green colour, trees and thatch roof in background.

    I like it .
I think he has done a very good job on it.
We dont know why it came about but I think the RR bits going on there are much better than them going to the tip if the rest was a right off !!
Same with the 70 rear end, I wonder what had damaged it ?
I like it, much better to see these two bits being used rather than both vehicles possibly being scrapped ?
Years ago Hotrods were created using bits from various cars and some of the creations were outstanding.
Seems tho that no one must ever try this sort of thing using any Landrover bits !!!
I think the Bloke made a good choice using the RR body like that, he made a good reliable vehicle an even better one.

    Robert.

PS: My Pith helmet arrived the other day !!!
You would be green with envy.

I reckon central east Africa, the Saffies have better taste than that.
At a guess with the speedboat there i would guess somewhere near Lake Kariba or even Malawi.

Looks a real dog's breakfast. And I think the dog vomited it's breakfast back up as well......

Where the rear wheel doesn't fit centrally in the wheel arch looks particularly ordinary.
