    Thumbs up Loop Hole

    Heard on the radio. Bloke gets a offer in the mail from his bank for a credit card. Offer states one hundred points for every purchase. Bloke makes seventy thousand one cent purchases by toping up his Myki account with his credit card to the value of seventy dollars. Was ethier his Myki or city link, any way ethier one even rang him and checked if every thing was ok with his card due to the unusual amounts. He explained what he was doing. They where fine with that. He now has two around the world business class tickets. Bank was understandably a bit peeved but had to honour the offer. They had not put a value on the purchase for each one hundred points. Noice

    only problem with that is the math, 70,000 x 1c = $700.00 , not $70

    to make each online transaction takes me about a minute,
    70,000 transactions would take 1166 hours , given 8 hour shifts at the computer that would take 145 days, or including weekends off = 29 weeks .

    if he got a holiday out of it he deserved it.

    One hundred points for every purchase. Which means 7000 purchases

    70x100x100=700,000

    Ok Ok so it was seven thousand purchases of one cent. One weee little mistake , should have checked the maths my self. That makes more sense as it would only take a few weeks to get.

    Doubt it, if ford had only made on little mistake putting that thing in I'd probably have had one.
