    A 4X4 IS BORN

I've been watching ,A 4X4 IS BORN , on Turbo Max , presented by Mark Evans , for those that haven't seen it , It's about building 100in Defender on a Range Rover v8 doner , It's still going, now getting close to finish . I think it is worth a watch not sure how many episodes are left . jimr1 .

There's one along similar lines, but they're building a helicopter.

I can imagine viewers at home with a half built helicopter in their lounge room waiting for next weeks episode so they can do a bit more work.

I love that show, seen the 4x4 one before, he does a triumph boneville (a bike is born) which is a great watch.
He's a good presenter, I like his humour and the way he explains stuff. Not bad for a vet!

    Love that 100" defender!

You can watch it on youtube, he's built/restored everything from an E-type to a helicopter, think his first one was a Cobra replica, not bad for a bloke who is actually a Vet rather than a mechanic. He's done a few bikes too

I'm a big fan. I use it to inspire me to get out in the shed and do some work.
The E type cost him £70,000 to build. budget got away from him on that one. But a very nice restoration job. He's also done, a MG is reborn, a race car is born.
Love the tube bender in a 4x4 is born.
