Move over Lillee & Thompson, Mitchell Johnson is on fire! 6 for 30, on a hat trick.....damn, the ball fell just short of the fielder. Back to the cricket, what a match, Bob

Well what a session and a half. The Poms are weak mentally. When we turn up the heat they turn to water.

    Go Aussie!!
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

England strike back! 2 for 21, Ashes cricket is alive & well. Clarke has to anchor the Australian innings again, Warner looks determined, the English are not giving up. LOVING it!. Clarkes tactics seem to be to keep the English bowlers out in the field, get them tired, the Perth match is only a few days away. This is cricket at its best. If only we could resurrect the West Indies......Bob

Today was a classic example of what fast bowling on the stumps can achieve. Look at what happened when Monty came in, Siddle and co tried to bounce him out and he wore a few but stayed around and they added an extra 40 or so runs, Johnson comes on and bowls full and on the stumps and wham Monty's gone.

Hope to see warner get to 100 then Clarke give him a few more overs to cut loose before they declare, should make for some entertaining cricket.

    Cheers Ean

    A friend just commented:

Australia have won the toss, and have elected to win the match.

A good day of cricket. Wickets for the Poms and some hard fought runs for the Aussies.

    Can't wait for tomorrow.

I knew we'd manage to convert you Bob!

Nah, there' same fair bit more life left in this game yet. I really wouldn't want to be facing Johnson on this pitch though.
