On the plus side, looks like I'll get some sleep this weekend after all

I reckon your coffee pot might get a bit of a bashing on Friday night but you'll get your beauty sleep the rest of the weekend.

Aus are 131-9 at the moment, who knows how long this last wicket will go.

Our bowlers did a great job, but then our batters failed again.

It says something when your second highest scoring batsman is a 19 year old debutant number 11.

That's not to take anything away from the lad, he's batted very well.

    Agar scored his 50.

    Then hit a 6...

    Great effort.

I'm eating humble pie here, happily. I pondered why Phil Hughes was in the side but in my opinion he's got us out of trouble willy nilly of Agars magnificent performance. He's held his end up under a lot of pressure against his normal play. Oi Oi Oi

When he played in England, for one of the Counties, he batted at No. 3. [Don't get excited, he is not a pom]. Boof has made another astute coaching selection. So, a change of coach does make a difference, 'eh? Bob

Just as an aside, news coming thru, Ricky Ponting, playing his last ever first class game of cricket, for Surrey, England, has scored 100 runs. Bob
