Nice pics but why oh why do some of these dipsticks insist on putting an SS badge on the front of an SLR - they are not an SS, it is retarded.

I'm about to take on a job converting a carport into a spraybooth for a bloke so he can get the top coat on an XA GT (in that colour) that he's been restoring since the mid 80's. He tells me he paid 3 grand for it back then.

Then there's the guy who got the Gunmetal LJ GTR, white trim with herringbone inserts, tan carpet, 140k on the clock, receipts for every cent spent since new, oil changed every 2500kms etc., for the right price from a deceased estate in '93 and still has it .

When I look back at what I've had, and moved on...

They're only valuable because the latest craze of the currently older generation is to pay ludicrous amounts of money for these older vehicles...

Nice, for sure. Driven by an emotional
    response to our younger years...
    Glory days!!!

Did a Dukes type jump across a railway line out at Walla one night. The front hit so hard the sump plug got ripped out
The new GT's are nice, but I don't like the plastic interiors they all have now,, kind of all seems too clinical or something. Dad had the LTD of the same year, man was that a nice car, all soft leather, just beautiful.
Nothing quite like the old steel of yesteryear.
My first car was a ZF Fairlane,Kelly Green, factory 351/FMX/9"/sunroof.Im still sad I let it go

See if he's got any history on it,, I'd be interested to know where he got it from. The guy that bought it off me I believe was from Myrtleford.
