    Custom gas hose

I have a stove with a 5/16 SAE fitting that currently connects to a bayonet fitting - with about 4 adapters in between!

I need a longer hose, so thought it would be nice top get one without all the adapters. I can't seem to find one, so was wondering, as a concept, can you get custom hoses made anywhere?

Or even better - anyone know if a 5/16SAE to bayonet hose exists, or where to start looking?

There are gas regulations for hose lengths & if you have a longer than approved length hose for the application( I think its 900mm for portable heaters & stoves) you may as well not bother paying for your insurance cover.. I have known of electrical fires that have involved dodgy gas installations & the insurance companies have deducted 10 to 25k claiming the non compliant gas installation has contributed to the damage. Something to ponder.
