I am running 2 x P38 4.6 HSE Range Rovers these days, one a 1995MY and the other a 1996MY. Both regos are due within a 2 week period.
I did the usual MAA Greenslip website check with the '96 & went for the cheapest option. A week later I went through the same thing with the '95 & found the cheapest Greenslip was around $100 dearer.
On checking the rego papers, the '96 has a vehicle 'shape' of PVF (panel van four wheel drive) but the '95 has PVS (panel van with seats). Both cars have the same model code of RANG95A.
I assume the insurance companies class PVS as a commercial vehicle & PVF as a passenger vehicle.
