    Cheers, Pickles.
Not so much the skill as the patience. Get a Rochester repair manual. The first time you strip, clean, and rebuild one will take you all day following the book. Read and understand each section of the book before proceeding further. It gets better with each succeeding one. Should be able to do one in 1 1/2 hours with experience. Like SU's, once set up they rarely need to be touched again. Problem with SU's is everyone is an expert and wants to fiddle. Once set, surround them with a ball of barbed wire to keep the idiots away.

thanks for the thread guys. I've just gone with carby and manifold from Summit in the US, half the price of RPI in the UK.
Im also fiting a snorkel and thinking of getting the "power plennum" (RPI) and connecting it with the efi cylindrical filter box in between.
    Your thoughts?

Well not a lot of thoughts.
I have learned that the benefit of the RPI kit is the extras. however nothing time and money can't fix.
    These include.
    throttle cable.
    choke cable
    bracket
i did buy a plenum out of the US for way less than the RPI custom, and it looks better to.
K & N filter and connecting tube should mate up to my Snorkel when it arrives from LRA.
I have requested pics from Chivalry on his setup. Anyone else have tips on this Edelbrock setup?
