Brad is not the most technical person in the world, but he loves his truck and is keen to learn. I would love to get over there and check it out myself. But distance is an issue for us.
Thanks.
Copied from the D2forum:
Hi I have a stepson in Cronulla with a Disco 2 that has a couple of issues with the 3 amigos and what is possibly a noisy front wheel bearing and/or front propshaft, is there anyone about who can possibly check it out?, he has a young family and not a lot of time. Me being in NZ means that I can't pop over and have a look myself easily. He basically just needs to know what is up and what to do to sort it out. You can PM me for contact details,
Thanks,
Jack.

Hey mate,
If he hasn't re-packed his bearings before, tell him to either buy a Haynes manual or just search for a video on YouTube. Pull them out replace if needed.
Would be a good starting point to elimate what could be the prob.
I'm in Cronulla myself but I'm only an amature self taught mechanic at best! So probably not the best of help!
Other option is taking the car to someone like shire clutch and brake to have a look for him!
All the best
The whole hub needs to be replaced in the D2, it's not repairable like the D1, call Peter at Roving Mechanical 0410 503 500 his rates are very reasonable.
