I have - as have thousands of others. My bonnet is fine, the roo is not.

Isuzurover, depends on the size of the roo, I'm up to about 8 now and one deer, never had one come up in the Defender but had one come up on to the bonnet in the falcon. I've seen a few nasty cases of big boomers coming up onto the bonnet and then kicking straight through the windscreen with an ARB type bar - mainly on patrols and one on a landcruiser. Neighbour across the road has the cow catcher type bar which is fantastic with roos, no damage to the vehicle and no danger to occupants.

Digger, I wonder how this is going to affect utes that are used for proper station purposes, ie the reason they have a flat bullbar is for knocking over mickeybulls, etc. Did have a bit of a laugh at the images when they were talking about rounded surfaces, slopes etc. Wonder if they've looked at a defender lately.

As usual it looks like those of us with a genuine need will have to come up with another way to do what we need to do.
