Now, because these two old buggers done that caravan clubs in Qld will be categorized as illegal crime organisations
If there are more than 2 caravans together in the hwy owners will be locked up.
That will please the drivers that complain about slow caravans in the roads holding traffic

From that, anyone in a car when there's more than 2 cars already on the road are in collusion and so they've also solved the traffic issues. From there, buses are also in collusion to keep people out of their cars and going to work.

I thought I would put this post here rather than start a new thread as there has been a lot of discussion about keeping left when driving slow.

Yesterday I had to do a 100km round trip out of Canberra in my Haflinger which cruises between 60 and 70kph. I had to drive up and back along the Barton Highway which is a typical B road with a 100kph speed limit with cars and trucks going faster and has a high accident rate.

Knowing this I tend to keep to the far left of the main carriage and as the Haffie is quite narrow there is normally enough room for a car to safely pass without actually having to cross to the wrong side of the road and the overtaking vehicle has a clear view of the road ahead.

Well - no one would pass so they all sat there with the traffic building up at 60kph. They waited until the overtaking lanes to overtake - even though there were plenty of overtaking opportunities.

On the way back when traffic was starting to build up a bit I actually moved right over off the main carriage way to the shoulder. It is bitumen, wider than the Haffie and no stones and is basically the same surface as the carriage way. Again the cars were reluctant to overtake and would sit there until it was time for me to move back onto the road because something like a bridge was coming up - blinker on indicating moving right they would then decide to pass, on one occasion into the path on oncoming traffic.

You do the right thing - keep far to the left, indicate with indicators what you are doing and they still do not overtake when it is safe and only do it when unsafe .

Also - not one gave me a toot or wave in acknowledgement but I bet I would get the finger if I sat in the middle of the carriageway which is my entitlement doing 60-70kph.

I have also found the same on freeways with three lanes either way and 110kph. Me in the left lane - no cars at all in the right lanes and cars building up behind me in the slow lane and not wanting to pass
