If the comments are going to based on assumptions by the media or others, I guess that the best it is to observe and keep out of it until you know that you have 100% of the facts right.
With the pass experience about Lindy Chamberlain case people should know when to refrain to make uneducated opinions.

This and the chamberlain case are very different but so similar both have the mother being portrayed as a suspect because they have not reacted in the manner people think they should. unfortunately in this case the brit police don't have jurisdiction but they can carry out their own investigation but I doubt anybody could be charged for talking about the case so INC is pretty safe

I was in Portugal not long after that and talked to my wife's relatives who live in Portugal, apparently there is not much sympathy for them (mcCanns) as such as there are many other Portuguese children missing as well and continue to go missing and no one seems to make such a fuss about them in the UK or any media but the most common comment from the Portuguese interestingly was why did they leave their children alone....
That said there was not a system of child abduction alerts like the the USA and the UK have where the child's photo and information is put up on the news and at railway stations etc ASAP.
Very sad all round, I only hope she did not suffer for a long time

No, let's argue it out here and submit our learned conclusions to the Portugese Police. I vote the maid in the dining room with a candlestick...

We can argue it out for our own conclusion.

Do you know how many crimes are solved with the assistance of civilians?

But if you don't talk to them, then you become a suspect.
