The tide has always scared me so I've stuck to that rule even though I have never been caught.

I dont paticulary like snatch straps either. I just think they put too much strain on everything. If I cant winch it or tow it with a proper tow strap with all the slack taken up then I need to start digging.

    Happy Days.

A fella at work just showed me this footage, and low and behold, you guys are already all over it!!

    I am still astonished.

Living in Darwin we see alot of drowned vehicles on mud flats and silly recoveries, but that footage highlights why it is always a good idea to drive within your vehicles capabilities (odds are the vehicle is more capable than the driver).

And also a good idea to stay on the safe side of your recovery capabilities.

    Still astonished....

    Cheers, Adam.

I agree, I started watching this show, because it is on community TV, & silly me, I thought it would be reasonably fair dinkum. Seems the 4wd Active mob have their tentacles on this too, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I was just sitting at home pondering life, and something occurred to me; I recall Jamie's (like Jamie from JTS and 4wd action) defender being at British Offroad after damage caused during filming for a 4Wd action DVD.

Can anyone provide details of this? Or possibly even a link to a thread about it that I have missed?

    Cheers, Adam
